The cats of Maun Gonakru once called the mountains that border the frozen sea their home, but due to some past disagreements and - in their eyes - some mean-spirited trickery, they have called the tunnels below the Earth home for more than 3 generations now. The change certainly took some getting used to, especially for the few shorthairs of the clan who had to adjust to staying below ground for 6 moons at a time, but now they've developed an efficient system. The woods on the surface provide them with food and shelter from the sun in the summer months, as well as providing a home to the more.. excitable members, only known as the Reapers. The tunnel that once brought them to their mountain home now provides a space to meet with their neighbours on the full moon, the clans known to disagree heavily whenever they're in close contact due to previously mentioned disagreements.

Notable Locations

Camp Tunnels

The main tunnel, known as "Kongeda" to the clan, lies just below the layer of ice that covers the ground for nearly 6 moons before splitting off into multiple other tunnels and dens that house the members of the clan.

Reaper Forest

Named as such for the rather aggressive members of Maun Gonakru that lay their heads to rest there, Reaper Forest provides summer prey and the location of the Running of the Drakes - a time honoured tradition to the Clan.

Old Home

The previous home of both Maun Gonakru and their neighbours, The Fallen before they broke apart many moons ago now serves as a gathering place for the two clans.
